20th Reunion

 

The weekend of July 12,13, and 14 saw members of the class of '82 paying a return visit to the Mayville area for their 20th reunion. In my own humble opinion I thought the event was a great success. Special thanks to all those who attended as well as the people behind the scenes who made it all possible. 

The Audubon Inn was the place to be on Friday night. Quite a few attending the reunion were on hand to kick off the festivities as well as good number of others who unfortunately could not be with us on Saturday. I'm told a few class members even sat up talking until the birds were chirping!

Saturday afternoon a small contingent of Tiger Woods wanna-be's hit the links at the Mayville Golf Club for some serious as well as some not so serious golf action. Has anybody seen the beer-lady?

The main event was held Saturday evening at the clubhouse in Mayville. There were cocktails and dinner, followed by a very nice video that included a very touching tribute to Joel Muche combined with tons of pictures submitted by class members. It was very well done and it got tears, laughs, oohs and aahs! The entertainment continued with Spid playing tunes until well past midnight. Some of the attendees even found their way downtown for a fitting end to a great 20th reunion!
